[미국 SMR 동향] NuScale commissions second SMR simulator
NuScale Power사는 두번째 SMR Simulator을 완성했다고 발표하였습니다.
이 새로운 시뮬레이터는 NuScale사의 워싱턴주 소재 리치랜드 사무실에 위치하고 있으며, SMR 모듈, 터빈발전기 및 발전 지원시스템 운전을 시뮬레이션 하기 위한 워크스테이션을 갖추고 가상 원전제어실 역할을 수행할 예정입니다.
동 사는 2012년 8월 오레건주 코발리스 소재 오레곤 주립대학에 최초의 제어실 시뮬레이터를 완성했다고 발표한 바 있는데 이는 2003년 이후 대학 내에서 운영 중이던 시험시설을 스케일업한 것이었습니다.
