[영국 상용원전 GDA 현황] Hitachi-GE and Westinghouse set for GDA completion

영국 규제기관 (ONR, Environmental Agency, Natural Resources Wales)에 따르면 상용원전 4개 노형에 대한 GDA 일정은 다음과 같다고 합니다.

1. UK ABWR: Horizon Nuclear Power가 2개 부지 (Wylfa, Oldbury-on-Severn)에 건설 추진 중인데 2017년 12월 GDA 완료 예정
2. AP1000: NuGeneration이 1개 부지 (Moorside)에 건설 추진 중인데 2017년 3월 GDA 완료 예정
3. UK EPR: EDF Energy와 CGN이 2개 부지 (Hinkley Point C, Sizewell)에 건설 추진 중인데 2012년 12월 GDA 완료 (ONR로부터 DAC 획득, EA로부터 SoDA 획득)
4. UK HPR1000: CGN과 EDF Energy가 1개 부지 (Bradwell)에 건설 추진 중인데 2017년 1월 19일에 GDA 공식 착수하여 2021년 완료 예정. 참고로, GDA 절차에 대응하기 위해 General Nuclear System (CGN과 EDF간 합작법인)을 설립

Hitachi-GE and Westinghouse set for GDA completion

UK regulators expect to complete the Generic Design Assessment (GDA) of the AP1000 and the UK Advanced Boiling Water Reactor (UK ABWR) in March and December this year, respectively. They have also reported the start of the GDA of the UK HPR1000, which they expect to complete in 2021.
