[러시아 SMR 동향] 러시아 부유식 원전 건설을 위한 자재 운송

러시아는 세계 최초의 부유식원전인 “Academican Lomonosov” 건설을 위한 자재를 Chukotka 자치구 내의 Pevek시로 인도했다고 합니다.

Rosatomdms 이번 자재 운송을 중요한 위업으로 묘사하고 있는데 그 이유는 그 지역에 대한 정상적인 항해일정이 아닌 매우 가혹한 동절기 여건 하에 이루어졌기 때문이라고 합니다. 9톤 정도의 화물이 2척의 쇄빙선과 함께 2척의 화물선에 의해 운송되었다고 합니다.

부유식 원전의 건설과 설치는 2017년 중반에 완료 예정이고 2019년에 시운전 예정입니다.

Russia has delivered materials for the construction of the world's first floating nuclear power plant, Academician Lomonosov, to the Arctic port town of Pevek, in the Chukotka Autonomous Region - the northern most city of Russia.

State nuclear corporation Rosatom described it as a significant feat since the transportation was conducted outside the normal navigation schedule for the region, and thus under harsh winter conditions. The almost nine-tonne cargo was delivered by two vessels accompanied by two icebreakers.

Completion of construction and installation work on the plant is scheduled for the middle of this year, with commissioning set for 2019.
